Welcome ! Thanks the Lord and praise Him for your visit today. It’s no coincidence. God wants you to enjoy everyday life- It is His will for you. You can have a quality of life that far exceeds your expectations, but it requires cooperation on your part. Jesus saids in John 15:10-11 that if you obey His instructions and abide in His love, your joy and gladness will be full, complete and overflowing.

Enjoying life to the fullest begin by making a decision to set time each day to pray and meditate on God’s Words and to learn His will and direction for your life. The people who most enjoy life are those who spend time with God. Seeking His direction and than following His leading.

My purpose of writing this blog is to help you focus on God and hopefully you find some direction and  Ultimately be happy. He will refresh and restore you, lead you in paths of righteousness and teach you how to enjoy everyday of your life if you trust in Him.

Rejoice In Today

The Lord once told me anxiety is caused by trying to mentally and emotionally get into things that are not here yet or that have already passed-mentally leaving today and getting into an area of the past or the future.

Since then I have been tring to learn to lighten up and enjoy life. I try to live life one day at a time and not worry about the past or future. We need to be responsible, but we also need to relax and take things as they come  without getting all nervous and upset.

Learn to enjoy the good life God provide for you. In spite of all the troubling things going on in the world, make this daily confession: ” This is the day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Start Where You Are

When God tells you to help someone, its easy to put it off.  You intend to obey God; it is just that you are going to do it later- When you have more money, when you’re not so busy, when Christmas is over, when the kids are back in school, or when vacation is over.

There is no point in praying for God to give you money so you can be a blessing to others if you are not being a blessing with what you already have. Satan will try to tell you that you don’t have anything to give- but don’t believe him. Even if it is only a small amounts of money, a pack of gum or ballpoint pen, start using what you have. As you begin giving what you have, God will bring increase into you life and you will be able to give on an even larger scale.

Bless And Be Blessed By Loving

Love should be number one on your spiritual priority list. You should learn about love, pray about love, and develop love by loving others.

God is love, so when you walk in His love you abide in Him, He is present. Because we walk in God’s love by receiving and expressing it, we should not deceive ourselves into thinking we can love God while we hate other people ( See 1 John 4:20)

We seek many things in the course of our lifetime hoping to find fulfillment. But most of these things disappoint. When we decide to walk in love we discover it only blesses others, it also blesses us.

Quick To Love, Slow to Judge 

You are instructed to wak in love. To esteem and delight yourself in others, you have to first get to know others, which is an act of love. It takes time and effort to look beyond the surface of any human being. Too often, we are tempted to judge hastily, but the word says, ” Be honest in your judgement and do not decide at a glance ( Superfically and by appearances); but judge fairly and righteously” ( John 7:24).

Before you judge an individual, you must take time to get to know the real person. Everyone has their little quirks,oddball action, behavious, and imperfections. God Himself does not judge by appearance- He looks on the heart. You should follow Hie example. As the saying goes, ” never judge a book by its cover”!

Hope In God

Discouragement destroys hope, so naturally the devilalways tried to discourage you. Without hope you give up, which is what Satan wants you to do. The Bible repeatedly tells you not to be discouraged or dismayed. God knows you will not come through to victory if you get discouraged-He wants you to be encouraged, not discouraged.

When discouragement or condemnation tried to overtake you, ask the Lord for strength and courage. Tomorrow is a new day. God loves you and His mercy is new every morning. Say, “I refuse to be discouraged. Father, the Bible says you love me. You sent Jesus to die for me. I’ll be fine-today shall be agreat day.” Hope in Him !

Why are you cast down, O my inner self ? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, my help and my God. ( Psalm 42:5)

Be A Believer, Not An Achiever

Trying to make things happen on your own without God’s help is foolish and often cause feelings of frustration and condemnation. It makes no sense for you to try to do what only God can do.

God wants you to realize it is impossible for you to change yourself-only He can do that through the marvelous wonder of His grace, which is a free gift to everyone who will receive it. If you have been struggling to achieve good results on your own it’s time to make a change. God wants you to struggle less and believe more. Accept the free gift of god’s grace and allow Him to change your life into the peaceful, abundant life He has planned for you.

Are you so foolish and so senseless and so silly? Having begun [your new life spiritually] with the [holy]spirit, are you now reaching perfection[by dependence]on the flesh (Galatians 3:3)

DO YOUR BEST AND LEAVE THE REST

Have you at some time found yourself under extreme pressure ? Have you there been episodes in your  life when you felt so burdened by your jobs and reponsibilities that there was simply no breathing space to prepare for your service to God?

That was the experience of a pastor by the name of A.J Gossip. During one hectic week, he didn’t have a customary amount of time to prepare for his sermon. As he walked to his pulpit that Sunday morning. He felt guilty about the scanty sermon notes in his hand.

It seemed that the lord was asking him, ” Is this the best you could do for Me this week?” And Gossip honestly replied, ” Yes, lord, It is my best. ” He told a friend later that Jesus took that ill-prepared piece of work and in His hands “it became a trumpet” to his congregation.

The apostle Paul encouraged the Thessalonians to give their all for God ( 1 Thess 5:14-22). they were so exhort, warm, comfort, rejoice, pray and express their gratitude to God- among other things. We too should always do our best in our christian life and service.

But when pressure periods come and we just don’t have the time we feel we need, we should do the best we can and then prayerfully trust God’s faithfulness

Give of Your Best to the Master, Give Him first place in your heart; Give Him first place in your service, Consecrate every part -Grose

Be faithful – and leave the result to God

Illegitimate Children

when we remove the words like sin, repentance, judgement and Hell from our message, we are in danger of preaching “another Gospel.” If it’s not the whole truth, it’s no longer the truth at all. It become illegitimate and produces illegitimate children, who call God their father, but still serve the devil.

The great key to making sure that we are never guilty of this is to say with Paul, ” in the sight of God we speak in Christ.” In other words, the words we speak are never dictated by fear of offending sinners on earth. Instead, the are dictated by the fear of offending a holy God in Heaven.

Nothing compromises truth like seeking the approval of men. And nothing ensures the truth like seeking the approval of Almighty God.

A Hot Summer’s Day

Here are two scenarios. The first is : You are standing by the edge of a swimming pool on a hot summer’s day. Your flesh is hot: the water’s cold. Its not going to be pleasant when you first hit the water.

The longer you hesitate, the harder it become. Your friends call out, ” The water’s fine. Come on. You can do it. Just dive in !” Now here’s the second scenario: You are hesitating by the water’s edge.

Suddenly you see your beloved four-year-old sink beneath the water in front of you. He’s drowning ! Do you still think about the cold water? No ! Not for a second. Every day 150,000 people sink into the cold water of death. Do you need to be coaxed to dive in to reach them before they pass into eternity ?

Compassionate Firefighter

Do you ever think about the reality of Hell ? Jesus spoke more Hell than He did of Heaven. Such thoughs can do us good if we are compassionate of heart. That will drive us to make a difference, and pull sinners from the fire, as the scriptures tell us to.

Think of compassionate firefighter. He’s diligent in training because he knows what fire can do to human beings. he may even make himself looks at horrific images of actual fire scenes. This helps him to cultivate sobriety in his heart. It helps him to see the seriousness of the task he has before him

Today let’s meditate for a moment on the terrible fate of the unsaved, and then, with the help of God, pull them from the fire.

Possess Your Soul

You need to learn not to let your mind and emotions get the best of you, especially when it involves things over which you have no control.

Suppose you are on your way to an important interview and get caught in a traffic jam. How do you react? Is it worth getting all upset and unleashing a wild spirit? wouldn’t it be much better for you and everyone else if you just remained clam, even if you were late for the interview? if you have done your best God will do the rest.

Refuse to get upset when things don’t go as you planned. refuse to allow your mind, will and emotions to rule your spirit. In your patience you will learn to possess your soul

 Caught Offguard

Do you ever think about how great is our God ? He is everywhere, Ominscient. That means He knows everything about you. He never suddenly thinks of something. If He does than he wouldn’t be omniscient. He is also Omnipresent. He lives and dwell everywhere. Even if you travel out of space 100 million miles away from earth, He is there. He is omnipotent. That means He can do anything. That means that He will never caught off guards at all time. He is perfect, no mistake made. How unspeakable great is our mighty God. What a fearful thing to do it will be to stand in his present on judgement day ? But that’s what sinners will do. And this same God told us to spread His word that He forgives and love every creature on earth. And when we go into the world to share his word, He’s already there waiting to help us.

Sin Again ?

Do you have the gratitude for the ” unspeakable Gift” of Jesus death on the cross. For what he has done for you ? Can you say with Paul ” Gpd forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world” ? After seeing Jesus on the cross,how could we ever allow ourselves to go back to the pleasures of sin ? To do so, we have to trample underfoot the blood of Jesus Christ. We would have to count the sacrifice of Calvary as nothing. We willfully crucify ourselves to the world.  Think again before you sin.

Switch On Some Darkness

Jesus Said; But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you shall be my witnesses.” The Holy Spirit was given so that we might have power for the purpose of being witnesses of Christ. Are we daily seeking the lost and sharing the Gospel, or are we afraid to let our light shine before men because we know men hates light. Yet, it is a  natural principal that when light shines, darkness flees. Darkness cannot overcome light. Try it. Switch on some darkness and see if the light leaves. Then try it the other way around. Today, let your light shine before men, and when you lay your head on your pillow tonight, you will be glad you did.

Hell is a good Reason

It’s unwise to give an unrepentant sinner the message of God’s forgiveness unless he shows some evident concern about his salvation. For eg., Lust is such a blinding and powerful sin, a man will not want to let it go unless he becomes convinced that it’s in his best interest to do so. Hell is a very good reason to do so. So, use the analogy and lust being like a sparkling stick of dynamite in a child’s hand. He loves the sparkle and hold it close with great delight. He doesn’t realise that it will kill him. Lust sparkles before the face of the unsaved, but it will bring terrible destruction. The Bible says that ” when it has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death. ” Without the understanding that he is in danger, sin will damn him forever.
